Paper-Plate Autumn Owl
Age: 3–5 years · Time: 30 min · Level: Easy
Materials
1 paper plate, brown and orange paint or crayons, yellow and brown construction paper, child-safe scissors with rounded tips, glue stick, black marker, 2 white paper circles for the eyes.
Steps
- Color the plate brown and let it dry.
- An adult cuts two triangles for ears and one small triangle for the beak.
- Tear brown paper into small pieces and glue them on the lower half as feathers.
- Draw a black dot in the middle of each white circle and glue on the eyes.
- Glue on the beak and ears. Done!
Safety for grown-ups
Small pieces can be a choking hazard. An adult stays close the whole time and handles the scissors. Use non-toxic paint and glue.
