Friendly toilet-roll ghosts and bats
Age: 3–5 (with an adult) and 6–9 · Time: 20–30 min · Level: Easy
Materials
empty toilet rolls, white and black paper (or paint), child-safe scissors, glue stick, black marker, optional sticker eyes.
Steps
- Wrap one roll in white paper (ghost) and one in black (bat). Glue in place.
- Draw two eyes and a happy mouth on the ghost.
- Cut two wings from black paper (an adult draws the outline for ages 3–5).
- Glue the wings to the back of the black roll.
- Add eyes and draw a smile on the bat.
- Let the glue dry – display them in the window!
Safety for grown-ups
Use round-tip children's scissors and non-toxic glue. An adult cuts for the youngest. Small parts like sticker eyes are a choking hazard – supervise children under 3.
