When a young child dropped their stuffed cat into a storm drain on the way to school in Riverside, Ohio, public works employee Kevin Miller lifted the cover and fished it out with a reaching tool. The child's mom photographed the rescue, and the city praised him as a hero who wears a city badge instead of a cape.
