How to play Animal 2048
Slide the board – two matching animals merge into a bigger one. Grow from a mouse all the way to a whale!
How to play
Slide all the animals at once. When two of the same animal bump into each other they merge into the next animal in the chain: mouse, frog, rabbit, cat, fox, dog, pig, cow, horse, bear, elephant and whale. Reach the elephant to win – then keep going for the whale!
Controls
Swipe the board on a phone. Computer: arrow keys or WASD. R starts over, P or Esc pauses.
Tips
- Keep your biggest animal in one corner and build the chain next to it.
- Try to use mostly two or three directions – and avoid the one that pulls the big animal out of its corner.
- Learn the chain: mouse, frog, rabbit, cat, fox, dog, pig, cow, horse, bear, elephant, whale.

When do I win?
When you make an elephant. Then you can keep going and try for the whale.
Do I need an account?
No. Just play. Your best score is only saved in your own browser.
Is this the game 2048?
It builds on the open-source game 2048 by Gabriele Cirulli (MIT License), with new animal pictures and sounds.
